Guidelines:
1. No reservations on Gig Nights, Holidays, or home swim meet nights. If there is a daytime Gig, picnic table reservations may be available before or after the event - please email to determine \ specific options. 2. The pool or building rental fee is $180 plus a $150 security deposit. Pool parties may be moved to the recreation building if the pool needs to be closed because of inclement weather. 3. The facilities may be rented by any member in good standing at the time at which the reservation is made and at the time of the event. The renter is the host of record and must be over 21 years of age. He or she must be present on site from the party start to end time. Guests will not be admitted unless the host is present on site. 4. A written request (Facility Reservation Release Form) to reserve the facilities is required for private parties and is taken on a first-come, first-served basis. The release form must be completed by the host of record and submitted along with both deposit checks for the rental. Reservations will not be confirmed until the rental fee and security deposit are paid, and the release form is received. If paying by check, please write two separate checks & the security deposit check will be destroyed if the facilities are left in good and clean condition. 5. All pool parties are required to have Coastline Aquatics lifeguards on duty. Guards must be prepaid and contracted directly through Coastline by the host prior to the party. Guard staffing should be handled at least seven (7) days prior to the event in order ensure availability/avoid "rush" fees. The number of guards and the associated costs are based on the number attending your function and whether alcohol will be available. Visit the Coastline Aquatics Pool Party Reservation Request Page to book lifeguards for your party. Lifeguard Staffing Requirement: Regardless of member count, Coastline Aquatics requires a full staff be present for the event. Facilities range from two to five guards to be considered fully staffed, therefore after hours events will be subjected to different fees in regard to number of participants. Typical rule of thumb is 30 members/non-members per guard Example - A two guard pool will require additional lifeguards if the event is 60+ Example - A three guard pool will require additional lifeguards if the event is 90+ and so forth. Lifeguard Pricing: $40 per guard per hour Cost includes a 30-minute clean-up period. Guards will assist in the clean-up, but the Host is required to lead the effort. After submission of the form, a representative will be in touch to advise member of required guard needs and price for the event. Please allow for 24-48 for a response to be generated. 6. Facilities can be rented from 15 minutes after normal pool closure time until midnight. All parties must end and have clean-up performed by midnight. No one is allowed to remain on facility property after midnight. 7. One party at the facility per night. Parties may not start setting up until the pool has closed to the general membership for the evening. Equipment or space in the snack bar or guard room is not available for party use. 8. All amplified entertainment (live or recorded) should be directed toward the interstate and away from the residential neighborhood located on the other side of the railroad tracks. 9. The use of alcohol will be at the discretion of the host member and must be controlled by the host member. Absolutely no glass containers are allowed in the pool area. Kegs, cans, box wines and plastic beverage containers are the only types permitted. No underage drinking will be allowed. The Association will not be liable for any accidents or incidents related to the use of alcohol on the premises. Lifeguards cannot be responsible for handling alcohol. Leftover food and drink items are the sole responsibility of the host and must be removed at the end of the party. No food, drink or alcohol may be left at the facility overnight. 10. All rentals are for rain or shine (no refunds). In the event of rain, the Recreation Building may be used. All but one lifeguard may be dismissed if the pool will not be used. One guard must stay to close the pool and building. The Recreation Building must be left in the same condition as found. 11. At the completion of the party, the renter is responsible for all clean up and for having at least two individuals available to help the lifeguard(s) close the pool. Whatever the designated closing time for the party is, all guests should be off the facility grounds by that time. The same is true if your guests gather in the parking lot and converse after the closing time, which prevents the guards from closing the main gate to the club. Please remember that guards may rely on rides to get home or may have other commitments after a party, so sticking to your designated closing time is very important. 12. The security deposit will be refunded if the facilities are left in good and clean condition. Review the Facility Cleanup Checklist. Granite must receive the rental fee, security deposit, and signed release form in advance. If your event requires accommodation outside these standard guidelines, please contact us. |
