Payment Policy
The policy stated herein enables the Board of Directors to ensure the budget for the upcoming season is appropriate and identify non-returning members in a timely fashion so that new members may be invited to join. If you have not paid in full or sent your first installment payment postmarked by March 15, your membership will be in jeopardy depending on the size of the waiting list. Payments cannot be accepted at the pool.
Your membership number is used for tracking membership payment status. Pleased insure your membership number is included on all correspondence.
Below is the renewal schedule:
January: Renewal information e-mailed to current members. The renewal packet will indicate any fee changes for the new season. Members not in good standing will be notified of their options prior to this mailing. Members are not in good standing when arrears from previous seasons remain.
Early payment period is complete for 2023.
March 15: Deadline for Membership renewal. Dues - either full payment or first installment - must be paid/postmarked by this date. After this date, we will begin offering memberships to those on the waiting list. Members eligible to return who missed the March15 deadline may reapply and pay a $50 late fee. Payments later than 14 days past the due date will result in loss of participation Early Bird discount and any multi-payment options for next season.
For your information we have a healthy waiting list!
May 1: Deadline for final installment payment. Members who have not made their second, and final, installment payment by May 1 may not continue to use the pool or participate in swim team activities.
Sabbatical Policy: If you are eligible to return for the season, but wish to take a year off, you must notify the Board in writing and pay a $110 retainer fee by March 15. No member may take a sabbatical for two consecutive seasons. While on sabbatical, we ask that a member not abuse this status as a guest of another member.
Ending Membership: If you decide to cancel your membership, please e-mail your decision to [email protected] no later than March 15. Prompt notifications will allow the new member process to begin sooner and avoid the need to contact you to verify your intentions before offering your membership to someone on the waiting list.
The majority of members pay their dues in a timely manner. This policy should help you plan and adjust your budgets accordingly. We would advise you to plan for a nominal increase each year.
Questions regarding these policies may be addressed to [email protected].
