 General Info
Granite Recreation Corporation is a private pool and tennis club that offers a full size (25-meter) swimming pool with diving area; a children's wading pool; two Omni tennis courts; three hard service courts; a playground, basketball and picnic area; and a recreation building. Both the pools and recreation building are available to rent for private parties and meetings.
Members enjoy numerous social activities geared towards children, adults and the whole  family.
Granite is located in the Willow Oaks area of Richmond and is easily accessible from most parts of the city (see Map 34k PDF).
Swim: Granite's swim team, the Granite Marlins, is a member of the Richmond Metropolitan Aquatic League and is open to children of all ages and abilities. Swim team membership is a fun way for children to make lasting friendships while receiving excellent swim instruction. Swim practices are held in the mornings and evenings. Swimming and Tennis Lessons: Granite offers swimming and tennis lessons. Group or private swimming lessons begin in June. Our tennis courts are open year round. During the summer, various tennis clinics are offered in addition to private lessons.
Volunteers: Granite is a nonprofit organization. The Board of Directors is made up of members who volunteer their time to help make Granite a successful operation. In addition, the general membership helps support the club by volunteering to help with the many tasks required to make Granite a great recreational facility. Your participation is encouraged, needed and appreciated!
